Doing a restart and gaining the softness and feel is important after having poor handling or lots of time off. I would recommend 60-90 days depending on your horses age and experience level
To begin the basics on the pattern I would recommend 60 days. The longer they stay, the more confident and consistent they become on the pattern.
Colt Starts
Futurity Prep + Running
Your colt deserves a solid foundation and the best chance to be successful. I recommend 90-120 days! Our program focuses on completing breaking loose your horse. Confidence, boundaries, and respect are all necessary! We have indoor/outdoor riding arenas, training trails, and a roundpen.
The futurity preparation can take 6 months-1 year to get one ready to enter. They will be hauled and exhibitioned multiple times per month. Once your horse is ready to enter we will discuss the futurity year entries!
